VicHealth's training courses provide practical knowledge and skills on effective approaches to promote health.

The courses increase the skills and capacity of people from diverse sectors to undertake successful and evidence-based health promotion practice; they are underpinned by experience generated by VicHealth partnerships, research and funded activity. The evidence-based course material gives participants access to contemporary research, experts in the field, models of best practice, and resources and tools to support their work.

Our capacity building efforts are underpinned by a wealth of experience that comes from over 25 years of VicHealth partnerships, research and funded activity. Although this is a small part of our overall efforts to build health promotion and illness prevention capacity, it's our way of sharing what we know and ensuring that the knowledge we create is translated into effective health promotion practice.
