Queensland Paediatrics is a multidisciplinary health clinic for babies, children and parents. Our purpose is to reduce the challenges in accessing quality care for both early baby health issues and child developmental concerns.

Since its conception Queensland Paediatrics has become a place where parents can access paediatric services and be linked with the combined expertise of a range of health professionals, for seamless, comprehensive care for their family.

The role:

We are looking for 2 x  Paediatricians (FRACP) to join our team at Queensland Paediatrics. 

One role in a full time capacity and one in part time capacity.

Specialty areas include general paediatric health issues, developmental assessments, cognitive assessments, learning assessments and Autism assessments.

Queensland Paediatrics Clinical Rooms are located at the new Westside Private Hospital in Taringa, approximately 10 minute’s drive from the CBD, and close to the University of Queensland. 

The new hospital is supported by a range of service providers, and includes an cafe/restaurant, undercover parking and hotel.

We offer free parking for patients in the hospital building, and the hospital is also serviced by the Taringa rail station at the rear of the premises.

About the Role

Our ideal candidates would work from our rooms at Westside Private Hospital and either have:

  • capacity to sustain a full time appointment book (i.e 1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) from
  • capacity to work in a part time role, to fit with our existing schedule and your availability, for a minimum of 3 half days (5 hours) each week from 8am to 1pm

Telehealth is an increasing part of our business, especially for follow up appointments and non acute cases. We are able to support this work with full cloud based systems, best practice data security and remote billing options. We expect this to grow and also to promote further job flexibility into the future, including work from home options.

Remuneration

We offer a competitive percentage based income, matched with quality KPI’s and service level assessment. 

For the right candidate we can offer a profit share or partnership into Queensland Paediatrics business, after an initial period.
