Health Performance Coordinator

The Health Strategy Group was established to simplify processes and implement initiatives that support healthcare providers to achieve better rehabilitation and return to work outcomes for injured Victorians.

About the role

You will be part of a flexible working team that lead the service development and performance management of health service providers to ensure the delivery of quality health services to injured workers across Victoria. The role will develop and implement improvement initiatives in conjunction with other areas of WorkSafe.

  • Monitor performance of Health Providers, analyse financial information on health category expenditure and identify trends and opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver reports, papers and presentations
  • Engage with diverse range of stakeholders as the subject matter expert
  • Coordinate contract management of health providers
  • Coordinate the development & implementation of innovative funding arrangement to support new service models/frameworks

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in undertaking effective research & costing analysis
  • Demonstrated ability todesign, develop and implement multi-faceted programs
  • Good working knowledge of project management
  • Sound knowledge of the Medical & Health industry
  • Experience in project planning, agendas, minutes & reports
  • Proven track record in facilitating workshops and presentations
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong financial and analytical skill set
  • Capability to work under minimal supervision, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Degree in commerce or related field
