Wellbeing Officer

About the role

In this newly created role, the Wellbeing Officer will partner with the business to develop proactive, integrated systems - focused wellbeing solutions, and provide high levels of service consistent with the health, safety and wellbeing strategy and business needs. The Wellbeing Program Officer will assist in the development, marketing, communication and delivery of wellbeing initiatives addressing work factors, to reduce the incidence of mental and physical injury, and equip employees with the skills and habits they need to sustain and enhance their health.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with the business to drive engagement with wellbeing programs, and embed a culture which embraces diversity
  • Independently manage and deliver workplace wellbeing programs to meet the deliverables of the health, safety and wellbeing program of work
  • Monitor, analyse and interpret key wellbeing data streams to review strategy and provide responsive and meaningful wellbeing solutions
  • Communicate wellbeing outcomes to business leaders, including reporting to the board
  • Responsible for communication of programs or events and liaising with providers

About you

The Wellbeing Program Officer will have a wealth of experience and an understanding of health and wellbeing in a work environment. You will partner with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver programs of work consistent with the Wellbeing Strategy for WorkSafe. You will contribute to the wider business agenda and present solutions to wellbeing challenges that enable individuals and teams to thrive in a supportive, high performance culture. More specifically you have:

  • A relevant Degree or Diploma
  • Allied Health Background
  • Experience developing and implementing programs addressing work factors that impact mental health in the workplace would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating and presenting wellbeing programs and events
