What you'll be doing

Manage operational nursing and midwifery service delivery, culture and service improvements to achieve quality patient outcomes, sustainable access and collaboration in health care. 

Skills and Knowledge

  • Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). with appropriate qualifications in management from Post Graduate to tertiary (Masters level) or working towards same.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
  • Proven ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.
  • Broad clinical experience and operational management expertise at a senior level within a health care environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of organisational Strategic & Business Plans and Project Management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.
