The NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) has been a leader in clinical trials research for over twenty years. We coordinate and conduct multi-centre and multinational clinical trials involving pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions and promote evidence-based medicine in Australia.  Our mission is to improve health outcomes through clinical trials research.

Opportunities now exist for suitably qualified and experienced staff to join the Centre and contribute to clinical trials research. We provide the opportunity to work directly with clinicians, biostatisticians, academic researchers and other experienced clinical trials and research staff.

Clinical Trials Assistant                        HEO 5
Clinical Trials Admin Assistant            HEO 4
Full-time or part time

The successful HEO 5 Clinical Trials Assistants will work as part of the research team in support roles providing administration, data entry and clerical duties for collaborative groups or CTC services. These roles provide the opportunity to commence a career in clinical trials operations.

The successful HEO 4 Clinical Trials Administrative Assistant will provide administration assistance with routine conduct and co-ordination of clinical trails or research programs. The position undertakes general office/administration duties to support more senior staff.

The positions are in Oncology trials and you will be joining other trials staff working on studies involving gynaecological oncology, neuro-oncology and other potentially other speciality oncology areas.

The positions are fixed term for 12 months, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new employees. There is the possibility of further offers of employment subject to funding, performance and need. 

Level of appointment and responsibility will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as outlined in the Position Descriptions.
