About the opportunity
The NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre (CTC) is a fully externally funded research centre operating for over 25 years. It runs large multicentre investigator-initiated clinical trials and provides expertise and infrastructure for trials run by external groups. It undertakes research aiming at improving both the conduct of trials and the resulting clinical evidence. The CTC participates in translational research, conducts methodological research in relation to clinical trials, reviews and synthesises evidence from completed trials, supervises postgraduate students in all of these areas, offers postgraduate degrees in clinical trials research, runs short courses to train people for Australian medical research.
The Clinical Data Coordinator will provide expertise and implementation for the clinical data aspects of clinical trials, taking a key role in the specification, design, development and support of CTC’s Clinical Data Management Systems. Responsibilities include system specification, programming and validation for new and existing systems, and providing specialised clinical data management capability to help assure high quality data throughout the trials process.
