About the opportunity
The Academic Lead (Mental Health) is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of the mental health education program for students from a range of health disciplines, including medicine. This includes the establishment and operation of rural placements and educational activities that provide students with a rich educational experience, relevant to rural health and the values of the University Centre for Rural Health (UCRH).

The UCRH education program encompasses a range of allied health disciplines, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and medicine. We provide students with clinical placement opportunities and structured learning programs in a multi-disciplinary environment, and with a focus on rural health and social equity. The education program is delivered on behalf of the Commonwealth’s Rural Health Multi-Disciplinary Training program.
