About the opportunity 

The Research Integrity and Ethics Project Officer provides operational support to the Research Integrity, Ethics and Clinical Trials Support teams. The successful candidate for this position will play a central role in coordinating, supporting, implementing and delivering key initiatives for the group in order to meet agreed milestones and deliverables.

The role is responsible for providing administrative support for specific initiatives relating to ethics administration, research integrity and clinical trials support, including implementing plans and managing communications to ensure effective collaboration with other teams across the University.

  • excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, in particular the ability to write clearly and succinctly in plain English
  • good attention to detail with a focus on quality
  • demonstrated ability to deliver project outcomes
  • good organisational and administrative skills including the ability to manage their workload to meet deadlines
  • experience with supporting committees including committee processes and operations
  • ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
  • excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint; experience with Visio will be well regarded
