  • Full-Time fixed term contract 1 Jan 2019 to 31 Dec 2021, Base Salary $104k - $123k, p.a plus superannuation and clinical loading

About the opportunity 

This is a teaching and research role. We are looking for an academic who is passionate about and committed to teaching and research in global health with a focus on health and / or nutrition among women, children and adolescents. The position offers opportunities to develop and contribute to research and teaching in global health as part of a multi-disciplinary team at the Sydney School of Public Health.

  • has demonstrated experience in curriculum development and teaching in postgraduate global health or public health with a focus on women, children and adolescent health and / or nutrition
  • can contribute to innovative curriculum development and delivery of units of study in multidisciplinary Masters programs at the University
  • can develop an independent research program within global public health with a focus on women, children and adolescent health and / or nutrition and development of a strong research trajectory
  • supervises students on their international field placements, capstone projects or research dissertations as well as higher degree research student supervision as appropriate
  • contributes to the governance and management of the School, University and discipline.
