About the opportunity
We are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Medicine and Health and in order to deliver on the University’s ambitious strategic plan, we are looking for a Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor Indigenous Health to join The University of Sydney, Sydney Medical School.
As a Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor Indigenous Health you will provide leadership and expertise in developing the Indigenous Health curriculum in the Sydney Medical Program (MD). The successful candidate has a fantastic opportunity to build engagement and make a significant contribution to the development of the research and education aspects of a culturally appropriate Indigenous Health curriculum. You will collaborate with a network of indigenous academics, professional staff and students to enhance understanding and cultural awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities. You will also support and encourage current and future Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander MD students
This role will consider applicants at either Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor level.
