The Clinical Research Centre (CRC), as part of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN), enables children to access novel therapies and innovative research in a safe, family-centred environment. At the CRC, we collaborate closely with clinical investigators and industry partners to prepare and deliver a wide range of paediatric clinical trials, including early phase and/or advanced therapeutics trials.(http://www.kidsresearch.org.au/ourfacilities/clinical-research-centre)
As the primary interface between trial participants, families and clinicians, the Clinical Research Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) will collaborate closely with Investigators and relevant industry stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of early phase and/or advanced therapeutics trials and provide care to paediatric trial
participants with complex care needs. As a senior member of the CRC Team, the CNS2 will be leading quality improvement initiatives and undertake leadership in the development of clinical research nursing practice and service delivery. Furthermore, the CNS will act as a role model within the clinical research team by promoting a culture and standards Internal NSW Health Print iworkfornsw Recruitment Agency that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. The CNS2 will be working Monday-Friday and will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team at the CRC.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
