What you'll be doing

The Children's Hospital at Westmead Clinical Research Centre provides advice, training and resources to support Investigators conducting clinical research. The Research Study Coordinator will support investigators located in various clinical departments to run their clinical research according to the protocol and all regulatory and local requirements, within set timelines and budget.
  1. Previous experience working as a Clinical Research Study Coordinator
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and guidelines for conducting clinical trials in Australia and experience in obtaining and maintaining ethics and governance approvals
  3. Experience and confidence working independently and as a member of different trial teams, with persons of varying seniority, clinical trial experience and background
  4. Excellent organisation, time management, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication skills
  5. Demonstrated ability to meet clinical trial recruitment and data management deadlines in light of competing research and clinical priorities
  6. Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office products, internet, and electronic data capture systems
  7. Ability to work to strict deadlines, maintaining confidentiality, adaptability and flexibility
  8. Demonstrated initiative and proactive problem solving abilities

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
