Community Connections Team Leader

As the Community Connections Team Leader you will lead the implementation of strategies, activities and programs tailored to meet the needs of older adults in Banyule.

 The Community Connections team build community strengthening and connections with a specific focus on age friendly communities as well as supporting community groups and organisations through community grants and volunteering.

 The Community Connections Team Leader will:

  • Manage the day to day support, leadership and supervision of the Age Friendly Team
  • Manage financial and physical resources, as well as policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of programs 
  • Develop strategic partnerships, links, systems and capacity for agencies, families and communities to respond to issues impacting on older people
  • Ensure that all activities uphold a high standard of safety and inclusion in all programming and service delivery
  • Oversee the Community Grants Program
  • Oversee the Volunteer Policy and Framework
  • Covid 19 Vaccination certificate

  • Salary range $99,898.26 to $111,452.72 plus super
