Position
This is an exciting position, working within a new child youth and family service, with a chance to drive and implement new service delivery models. Job Share arrangements will be considered.

Where you'll be working
Child Youth and Family Services, mainly based at St George Hospital with the option to move around SESLHD as required.

What you'll be doing

Plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge within community paediatric physiotherapy in order to provide high quality physiotherapy care to patients of the community paediatric service and adult services when required of SESLHD consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards

  1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award & the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  2. Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical support and supervision to other health professionals, technical and support staff to enhance service delivery, & to guide and support others in providing service excellence
  4. Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels
  5. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel complex or critical nature
  6. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff
  7. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
  8. Current unrestricted Driver’s licence, valid in NSW
