About the team
The Communications, Fundraising and Advocacy team plays a vital role in shaping and sharing our organisation's story. We don’t just explain the science – we share the story of the people who perform research, and the people living with vision loss who inspire our work every day. With a focus on impactful storytelling, the team develops and delivers creative, multi-channel communication strategies to enhance engagement with key audiences, including donors, stakeholders, and the broader community. Collaborating closely with various teams, the team ensures consistent messaging across digital platforms, social media, publications, and events. By combining innovative approaches with data-driven insights, the team drives brand awareness, supports fundraising initiatives, and fosters meaningful connections that amplify our mission and impact.
The role
The Fundraising Campaigns Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering compelling direct marketing content and supporter communications across multiple channels. This hands-on, creative role is responsible for:

Our staff and students are located at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and 200 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne.
