Moreland City Council is offering a fantastic opportunity to take up a pivotal leadership role as the Manager Aged and Community Support. This position will be responsible for the strategic management and direction of the bulk of Council’s Aged Services, with a particular focus on home care and support, assessment services, policy development and disability. You will be the link between community organisations, business, service providers and citizens to encourage and achieve 
wellbeing outcomes for Moreland’s senior citizens. The role is crucial in ensuring that Council’s high standard of care is being met and that Council services are well equipped and positioned to meet sector changes.

You will be working closely with a motivated team leading, guiding and supporting them to provide outstanding service to all clients. You will need to have relevant qualifications and the ability to work within a fast paced, demanding environment.

You will have extensive knowledge within the aged care industry and have substantial budget management, project planning, leadership and management skills. The position reports to the Director Social Development and will work closely with the Director to prioritise and manage resources actively towards the achievement of key Council and organisational priorities.
