ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking applications from suitable candidates who are enthusiastic and motivated to work within the Youth Services Team.
The position involves community outreach and the development of programs, activities and events that respond to the local needs of young people, with a focus on the northern suburbs of Moreland and those suburbs facing the greatest disadvantage and/or barriers to access.
The position will lead the development of place-based initiatives that engage the local community and involve the planning and development of collaborative projects in partnership with local schools, service providers and community groups. The aim is to connect local young people into meaningful social and recreational opportunities through the activation of community spaces, such as schools, local sporting and community facilities and Council venues.
