ABOUT THE ROLE 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a person with exceptional customer service and administrative skills to join the Immunisation team on a casual basis as an Administration Officer. You will assist Moreland’s Maternal and Child Health Immunisation Services at immunisation sessions. Council’s Immunisation team works to service Moreland residents and families. Immunisation programs are provided by qualified Immunisation Nurses at our community immunisation venues and schools.  

You will:

  • Ensure quality data entry of vaccines provided to clients of our service.
  • Assist in logistics management of immunisation clinics. 
  • Advise the Immunisation Nurse in charge at sessions of matters requiring attention.
  • Proactively seek out and suggest new ideas for improved service delivery.
  • Provide an accurate and accountable receipt service for payments.
  • Undertake other duties as required within the skills, competence and training of the position.
  • Knowledge of National Immunisation Program and previous experience in IMPS desirable.

You will be required to provide a current Drivers Licence & Working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a National Police Record Check.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

  • Administration Officer experience in a similar environment
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Strong customer service focus and experience and the ability to engage with the community
  • Flexible to work around the planned immunisation sessions
