The City of Stonnington’s Children and Family Services Department is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Maternal and Child Health Nurses to join a progressive and cohesive team.

As a Maternal and Child Health Nurse you will be responsible for providing a family centered Maternal and Child Health Service that maximises the health potential of children 0-6 years and their families.

As the successful applicant you will possess:
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as both a registered nurse and a registered midwife and to also hold recognised qualifications in maternal and child health nursing (or pre-1998 equivalent).
• Ability to organise workload to achieve the objectives of the Maternal & Child Health Service.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and to work collaboratively within multi disciplinary partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability and understanding of information technology systems and the Maternal and Child Health (MaCHS) Software package.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Police check and Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain
