We have multiple casual opportunities for a Child and Youth Community Wellbeing Hub Worker to join our Youth and Middle Years Services Office located at Grattan Gardens in the heart of Prahran.
Acting in the best interest of the child or young person, you will assist in ensuring the consistent provision of activities and programs to enhance the psychosocial wellbeing of children on the Horace Petty and surrounding Office of Housing Estates. Working with other Hub staff you will formulate, implement and evaluate strategies and procedures for behaviour modification, conflict resolution and personal growth that are responsive to the individual needs of children and young people.
The successful candidate will have:
• Availability for the above noted shifts
• Have Demonstrated experience in community development, program planning and facilitation, and evaluation and ideally a tertiary qualification in a related field
• Skills and experience working in Trauma Informed Practice Frameworks
• Skills in working with and engaging children, young people and families, in particular those from non-English speaking and low socioeconomic backgrounds.
