About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Advisor to join our Corporate Affairs team. This role is critical in raising awareness and increasing participation in the organisation's Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability activities (both internally and externally).

Key to this role will be the ability to undertake detailed environmental analysis to develop meaningful recommendations to the business and create engaging internal and external communications. 

This role will see you develop strong working relationships with partner organisations and internal stakeholders to coordinate activities that deliver meaningful outcomes in the areas of improved health and environmental sustainability.

You will be/have:-

  • Key to this role will be the ability to influence meaningful participation by employees and external parties to achieve business objectives, through effective communications and efficient operations of the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CRS) team.
  • Bringing the Bupa 2017-2020 approved Sustainability plan to life.
  • Experience in developing, implementing and executing sustainability programs.
  • An exceptional relationship manager, with proven ability to influence, inspire and engage key stakeholders. 
  • Project management and coordination experience.
  • High level written communication skills - this role will see you produce content including social media, internal memos, publications, speeches, letters and media releases.
  • Able to complete administration and coordination activities including sustainability reporting, minute taking, diary management, accounts payable and budget maintenance.
  • Tertiary qualifications in sustainability, communications, or corporate responsibility related field.
