In partnership with Council’s leadership team, you will develop and implement strategies, systems and programs that drive and underpin our safety culture.

You’ll provide strategic direction and specialist advice on all matters relating to occupational health and safety (OHS), including governance, operations, compliance, and reporting.

You’ll be an experienced change agent, have a Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, extensive experience in interpreting and applying OHS legislation, and you’ll be an excellent communicator and facilitator. You’ll be able to monitor health and safety programs and apply continuous improvement methodologies that support Council to achieve its safety vision.

Salary: $105,947 per annum (+ super)
