Where you'll be working

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for HR operational / processing functions within WSLHD and for ongoing liaison with HealthShare NSW (HSNSW) regarding operational / transactional HR matters. The position also plays a role in processing any organisation change to positions and cost centres.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Current experience working in a HR transactional environment for a large, complex organisation, or a similar position working with a HRIS.
  2. Capacity and preparedness in acquiring knowledge about / interpreting NSW Public Hospital Awards or Agreements.
  3. High level organisational and administrative skills with attention to details and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  4. Strong customer service skills with a focused and responsive approach to managing enquiries whilst maintaining confidentiality.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills including the capacity to successfully relate to all of management and staff as well as external stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated evidence as an effective team player with a capacity to be flexible, motivated and participate in an include Liaison team that services a wide and varied client base.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to manage concurrent activities of a diverse nature.
  8. Demonstrated proficiency in using PC based software and ability using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
