Full Time, Fixed Term. 18 months
$98,664 – $114,838 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience
plus Employer Superannuation Contribution 10%

The National Ageing Research Institute (NARI) is an independent, non-profit, medical research organisation recognised internationally as a centre of excellence in gerontology and geriatrics research.  The Institute provides clinical, psycho-social, health services and public health research specifically focussed on older people and also has a major emphasis on translational research.  Our vision is a world where older people are respected, healthy and included.  The Institute has four program areas - Clinical Gerontology, Social Gerontology, Aged Care and the Melbourne Ageing Research Collaboration (MARC).

We are seeking a full time Research Fellow B based within the Social Gerontology Division of the Institute, to work on the e-DiVA (empowering Dementia Carers with an iSupport Virtual Assistant) project. This project aims to co-design an iSupport Virtual Assistant (VA) and test the feasibility, acceptability and possible effect of the VA on dementia family carers in Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Vietnam.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in a relevant discipline.
