Workforce Coordinator (COVID-19)

Aspen Aged Healthcare, a subsidiary of the Aspen Medical Group, is seeking an experienced and skilled Workforce Coordinator to facilitate the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for our project employees and provide necessary administrative support to the contract management team. In this full-time fixed-term role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining and deploying a sufficient talent pool to ensure the COVID-19 Project Team can deliver its various contracts efficiently and effectively.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • liaising with the Project Manager to fully understand the staffing requirements
  • undertaking recruitment and selection activities such as reviewing applications, scheduling and conducting interviews to maintain a suitable pipeline of candidates for Aspen Medical project requirements
  • monitoring and managing recruitment inboxes, responding promptly to recruitment enquiries
  • ensuring all employees deployed to projects are appropriately credentialed and have completed the necessary onboarding and induction training
  • sourcing, collating and forwarding supporting documentation to the relevant area of expertise such as credentialing, payroll and culture and performance (CP) (e.g. payroll details, employment agreement)
  • liaising with each department to monitor that necessary processes are completed within the directed timelines
  • coordinating travel requirements (e.g. flights, accommodation, visas) through the Aspen Medical travel team and following the Aspen Medical travel policy
  • generating accurate and appropriate contracts and employment agreements in accordance with Australian Modern Awards and contemporary Human Resources' principles.

Experience, Qualifications and Documentation Required:

Essential:

  • strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • highly developed written and oral communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • the ability to provide a high level of customer service and effectively manage relationships
  • the ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
  • demonstrated experience in complex problem solving
  • the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.

Desired:

  • experience in recruitment, Human Resources and/or Project Management
  • knowledge of human resource principles and practices including an understanding of Australian Modern Awards and their application
  • experience deploying people and managing associated logistics.
