CSIRO’s Health and Biosecurity Business Unit is dedicated to conducting scientific research that develops products and services to address the complexity and interdependencies of human, animal and environmental health and biosecurity challenges to provide benefits to Australia and the world.
As the Bioinformatician, you will join the Immunomics team within CSIRO’s Health and Biosecurity business unit, focused on investigating the immune system in infectious disease. You will be responsible for performing data analysis including NGS analysis and sequence analysis from experiments conducted in the lab. In this role, you will have a focus on vaccine design, transcriptomics, immune pathway analysis, identifying new potential diagnostic biomarkers as well as candidates for therapeutic intervention and vaccine design, data visualisation and analysis pipeline development.

Salary: AU$105k to AU$114k pa + up to 15.4% super
