The Opportunity

We are now seeking a talented Database and Analytics Manager to join our Philanthropy and Supporter Engagement team! Initially, the role will focus on the migration and uptake of a new Salesforce CRM , with a view to expanding the system to support the broader Strategic Funding and Partnerships team. This role will manage the related database, including governance, administration, analytics and insights.

You will provide database management and analysis to support a strong, compelling and customer-driven Strategic Funding and Partnership program in order to generate and grow revenue, build brand awareness, and acquire and retain supporters, funders and partners.

Some of your key responsibility areas will include:

  • Database administration and customisation
  • Maintaining data integrity and accuracy
  • Providing data support for direct marketing communications & events
  • Providing reports, dashboards & analytics
  • Team coaching & supervising
  • Assisting with internal team operations and procedures

Let’s talk about you

The following are essential requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (management information systems (MIS), computer science, information systems, or information technology) and/or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in management of Salesforce database, including administration, segmentation and reports
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and provide insights and recommendations
  • A customer focussed mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective listening, empathy, discretion, diplomacy
  • Sound organisational skills and time management skills
  • Excellent computer literacy, including advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis software
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team to meet demanding time frames and expectations

Experience working in fundraising and philanthropy or NGO or medical research sector is also desirable but not essential.
