This is an excellent opportunity to join the People Experience team on their journey to revamping the way we work and act as a trusted advisor to our people managers.

The role as a People Partner will focus on enabling business activity and supporting organisational effectiveness.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced People Business Partner who can balance client responsibility with an area of subject matter expertise across the domains including performance, engagement, ER/IR and others.

A good candidate is proactive, has a ‘can do’ attitude and can demonstrate successful business partnering at all levels from mid to senior leadership levels.  

Key accountabilities and responsibilities, include but are not limited to: 

  • Create greater leadership capability by modelling and providing timely advice, coaching and support on people related transactions and questions of policy interpretation to assist people managers in meeting their business objectives.   
  • Support people managers’ actions to take ownership to resolve business issues swiftly.  Empower and support organisational leaders to handle people related matters effectively after each interaction. 
  • Support managers’ business planning and execution to meet customer needs.  
  • Support corporate units in rollout and facilitation of relevant training programs; partner with Learning & Development team to uplift leadership capabilities and champions the employee experience. 
  • Coach people managers on performance management, including performance reviews, talent reviews, development plans and managing poor performance.    
  • Create an organisation that takes safety and wellbeing of its workforce as the #1 priority. 

Eligible candidates must be able to demonstrate: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Commerce or related discipline. Post graduate studies advantageous!  
  • 5+ years' experience in a HRBP/HR Manager capacity or equivalent. 
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, key business drivers and how your expertise support these 
  • Exceptional business partnering experience with all levels of management, strategic thinking and proven problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills particularly in conflict resolution and influencing skills, backed up by strong time management and quality output.
