Test Analyst

 

Hearing Australia has an exciting fixed term employment opportunity for an experienced Test Analyst. The role is a fixed term opportunity with the project time frame is expected to conclude in July 2021. You will be working in a fast paced environment with a strong emphasis on results and driving modernisation solutions.

The primary purpose of the Test Analyst is to ensure the planning and testing processes are in place and  is fully tested to support the Hearing Australia Business Process prior to each launch and release to production.

The scope is technical, functional and process driven, relating to the new Production Environment systems and information.  Scope of Production Environment is applications, databases and middleware.

Key responsibility areas will include the following:

  • Be the test analyst and QA planner for multiple modules within the finance team delivery
  • Design and execute robust test scenarios as part of project delivery
  • Implement and automate testing in line with wider business transformation strategy and planning
  • Develop and implement test plans for individual phases of application and web applications testing
  • Collaborate, identify, design and develop associated test cases
  • Record test results, raise defect records and re-test fixes
  • Document guidance on test planning and execution
  • Develop test-based code, design tests, correct, and document simple programs or scripts to support the testing of software
  • Risk identification and management

Skills, knowledge & experience

  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience as a Test Analyst ( >3 years)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Systems and Agile projects are essential
  • Experience in an Application Life Cycle Management toolsets
  • Ability to use structured query languages to investigate database structures and identify test data
  • Experience in Agile Development environments
  • Experience in deployment of front end testing and development
  • Exposure to Cloud environments (Azure DevOps)
  • Ability to engage & influence project stakeholders (including suppliers)
  • Experience working in a project team on a complex project
  • Experience with automation of scripting, testing and coding
  • Knowledge and the practical application of standards and best practices
  • Experience in a highly business-engaged environment
