We’re looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist who is passionate about creating an exceptional culture and brand reputation.  You will deliver a national program that drives our internal communications and engagement and enhances our brand leadership with our key stakeholders.

This role will share a compelling narrative through a range of internal and external communications activities to connect our people and our government and sector stakeholders to our purpose, values and strategy.

What will I do:

  • Develop and implement targeted communications strategy and tactics.
  • Build strong working relationships to identify compelling stories.
  • Produce content for key internal communications channels.
  • Support the management of internal communications platforms.
  • Support and collaborate with our People Team and Departments as their Communications Partner.
  • Organise corporate media opportunities in conjunction with government partners and sector stakeholders.
  • Produce and maintain relevant communication material and publications .
  • Address media enquiries.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of our corporate communications.
  • Efficiently and cost effectively manage relevant agencies and related suppliers.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Degree level qualifications in communications, journalism or public relations.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Corporate Communications role, preferably within a healthcare or services environment.
  • A creative approach, ability to “see the story” but remain true to the brand.
  • Experience and understanding of a range of communications channels and approaches to best engage and benefit our target audiences.
  • An ability to create and integrate content across various channels such as web, social, internal, print and video.
  • The ability to influence and confidence in dealing with senior leaders
  • A flair for analytics and reporting
  • Experience in managing agencies and budgets

We will require the successful candidate to be willing to have a Police Check conducted (we pay) and must have rights to work in Australia
