The Australia & New Zealand Breast Cancer Trials Group (ANZBCTG) has conducted a clinical trials research program for the treatment, prevention and cure of breast cancer for almost 40 years.

We have the opportunity for two Clinical Research Associates to join the Group with vacancies for two 12-month roles (with the possibility of extension). By working for our highly respected clinical trials organisation, you will have the opportunity to work on national and international trials at various stages of the trial life cycle.

About the role:

  • Proactively manage the progress of assigned trials
  • Establish and maintain communication lines with sites to manage expectations and queries
  • Enter and maintain data using an in-house database, in accordance with protocol. Efficiency and accuracy are essentialPerform site initiation, monitoring and close-out visits, as per protocol design
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement of processes

 About you: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in clinical or life sciences, nursing, health, and/or research
  • Minimum two years’ clinical research trial monitoring experience and working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written English
  • A competent problem solver with strong organisational skills and able to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to work as a member of a team as well as be self-directed and show initiative
  • Able to regularly travel within Australia and perhaps New Zealand
