With a focus on heart disease and cardiovascular biology, we are internationally recognised for the quality of our discoveries. The Institute is also a centre-of-excellence in cardiovascular research training, and in the rapid translation of discoveries into new diagnostics, preventions and treatments of cardiovascular disease.

The Role

In this position, you will use cellular and tissue level electrophysiology and calcium imaging to investigate arrhythmogenesis in drug-induced and congenital arrhythmias using induced pluripotent stem cell derived cardiomyocytes. You will join a dynamic team of scientists working on the molecular basis of abnormal heart rhythms using state-of-the-art electrophysiology and computational techniques. This is a full-time appointment for up to three years with the possibility of renewal subject to funding.

Skills Required

  • PhD in a relevant field.
