HR Coordinator (Fixed Term) Parental Leave Cover

This position is a parental leave cover for a fixed term of 12 months and will be suited to someone with a high level of energy, resilience and desire to learn and deliver. The successful candidate is enthusiastic, motivated, has strong initiative and is someone who demonstrates sound judgment and discretion at all times.

About the business

Established in 2003, City Fertility is one of Australia's leading IVF and fertility services group with seven IVF clinics, 65 consulting rooms and 50 clinicians nationwide. We provide seamless care across the full fertility spectrum, to ensure the best possible outcomes through our rigorous protocols and science-based treatments. 

Your role as the HR Coordinator with City Fertility is to support the National HR Manager and the role and responsibilities will be diverse and hands-on.

The key roles and responsibilities for this role include the following:

  • HR Administration and ad hoc duties
  • Ensuring employee records are maintained and kept up to date in all systems.
  • Coordinating the employee life cycle processes.
  • Primary point of contact for all onboarding / offboarding tasks
  • To assist Program and Department Managers with recruitment programs and with general HR process requirements of CFC
  • Collate data from a variety of systems for analysis and reporting
  • Basic understanding of Awards, Acts, Policies and Procedures.
  • Coordinate engagement initiatives, events and HR initiatives/projects, including management of the recognition programs and HRM projects.

Valid Australian visa with work rights

You must be legally entitled to work in Australia to accept this position and will be required to show proof of employability with a copy of your Australian visa advising of visa details and entitlements or Australian birth certificate. An Australian visa check will be completed on all successful candidates.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Min 2 – 5 years’ experience in office and/or payroll administration
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
  • Ability to learn new software programs and systems
  • Basic understanding of application of contemporary HR procedures and practices
  • Completing or has qualifications in Business or Human Resources Management, (advantageous)
