Director of Nursing

Concept Fertility Centre and Concept Day Hospital, a busy, private hospital situated in Subiaco, Western Australia for over 30 years are looking to hire an enthusiastic director of nursing to lead and support our dynamic nursing teams

This position reports to the CEO and works as part of the clinical and quality teams in the provision of quality patient care.

Essential requirements

• Australian resident or right to work in Australia
• Registered Nurse currently registered with AHPRA.
• A relevant leadership or management qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience within the nursing field.

Desirably, the right candidate would have experience in infertility, gynaecology and assisted reproduction.

Skills

Be able to demonstrate strong human resource management, with excellent communication, both written and verbal.  A high degree of computer literacy will be essential in this role as well as strong attention to detail. Change management experience and the ability to help with continuous improvement in all clinical areas will challenge your problem-solving ability.

You will be required to function effectively as part of a senior management team and collaborate successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.

You will be responsible for the effective management and support of the nursing management team and overarching responsibility for nursing departments. The administrative task would include, but not limited, to overseeing and ensuring completion of Licensing and Accreditation Standards and requirements. You will need to have an understanding and knowledge of how to work within Occupational Health and Safety and Infection Prevention and Control objectives.

Active participation in all ongoing quality management and assurance processes, including but not limited to NSQHSS, ISO 9001:2016 and RTAC.
