Court Support Services Team Leader, Geelong Magistrates' Court

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join its Court Support Services (CSS) team. The Court Support Services Team Leader will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of case managers based at Geelong, Ballarat and Warrnambool Magistrates' Courts, who provide support to people on bail who have multiple and complex needs. 

We encourage you to apply if you possess the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology or a related field
  • Extensive experience providing management and leadership to staff within a complex client environment
  • Extensive clinical experience with clients presenting with complex needs and risks
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with external stakeholders
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills and a flexible approach

In this key leadership role within the Court Support Services programs, you will play an important part in ensuring accused persons receive responsive, coordinated and integrated support services. In return, you will be provided with ongoing professional development opportunities and be part of a court-based team committed to supporting people on bail to make changes in their lives.
