About the role
The School of Nursing and Midwifery is a comprehensive research and teaching school, with an innovative approach to undergraduate and graduate teaching. The School enjoys a close collaboration with local area health services in providing clinical learning experiences for students, in the provision of graduate programs and in the conduct of clinical research.
The Lecturer in Nursing will provide strong leadership in the teaching area that inspires staff and students to contribute to the UON and Faculty's vision and mission. The role is to foster a collaborative and globally competitive teaching environment that promotes excellence in teaching and learning through innovative curriculum development and delivery.
While conducting research that advances the School's research agenda, the Lecturer in Nursing will promote and foster a collaborative, dynamic, productive and globally competitive research environment through research collaboration, external grant income, publication outputs, and research higher degree graduates.
