We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic academic to contribute to, develop, and deliver curriculum; to conduct high quality research; and to provide supervision of coursework masters and higher degree research students. In this exciting new role, you will develop and deliver curriculum in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our research department and, with support and time for your own research, play a key role in expanding the discipline’s research strengths.

With our primary location close to Sydney’s CBD next to Central Station, Physiotherapy also has a home within Sydney’s elite sporting precinct at Moore Park in the Rugby Australia Building. These facilities include high-tech research labs, state-of-the-art classrooms and study spaces, a multi-purpose sports hall, a resistance training facility and specialist post-grad learning spaces. About You
With a strong teaching and research track record and solid interpersonal skills, you will bring to this role:

• A PhD in Physiotherapy or related field and AHPRA endorsement as a Physiotherapist or eligible to register
• Demonstrated knowledge in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with ability to teach and coordinate related subjects and to contribute to curriculum development  

• Experience in leading independent scholarly research with demonstrated capacity to obtain research grants and other support for research projects and an established research track record of refereed publications and conference presentations at a national and international level

• Demonstrated ability to forge links with the Physiotherapy profession and other key stakeholders.

You will also have considerable clinical experience and an understanding of key issues in contemporary higher education and research as relevant to the School.

Remuneration & Benefits

This position is full-time and appointment is on a continuing basis.

Base Salary Range: $127,666 pa to $146,614 p.a. (Academic Level C)

This role also attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
