  • $92,117 to $109,391 p.a. (plus super)
  • Port Macquarie

As Lecturer in Biomedical Science (Physiology) you will actively engage in teaching, research and curriculum development related to biomedical sciences in the School of Community Health. The appointee will be primarily responsible for teaching physiology and pharmacology. You will also be expected to use online and face to face models of subject delivery in their teaching and will be involved in teaching and coordinating cross-campus subjects and via distance education. You will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic direction of the School and University.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral or master qualification relevant to biomedical sciences (or equivalent)
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the discipline
  • A record of research/publication or professional activity relevant to the discipline area, which demonstrates a capacity to make an autonomous contribution
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to course and subject design, and to deliver high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

The School provides students with clinical training opportunities through the operation of commercial clinics offering services in Podiatry, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy
