The Role
As Lecturer in Rural Indigenous Health (Clinical Educator) you will be a key staff member in the Three Rivers University Department of Rural Health co-located within Bila Muuji Aboriginal Corporation Health Service. The primary role of this position is to lead the development of quality rural clinical training experiences for health professional students within Aboriginal health settings across the central western area of NSW, whilst also conducting research that impacts on the health of rural Aboriginal people.
You will engage in activities related to developing clinical placement opportunities as well as teaching and supporting students and clinicians within Aboriginal health settings.
You will also undertake stakeholder engagement with Aboriginal health service providers, clinicians, faculties and schools within CSU to promote the objectives of the UDRH, whilst also developing the capacity for quality clinical training in existing and new settings.
This position is ideally suited to someone who is currently working in clinical practice and would like to expand into rural health education; for the benefit of the future rural health workforce, supporting Indigenous Australians.

The Three Rivers University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) is a newly established UDRH based at Charles Sturt University in the Riverina and Central West region of New South Wales.
