The Right Sight Optometry is an Independent locally owned and operated family Optometrist.

We are looking to fill a full-time Optometrist role within our practice a/s/a/p. We have excellent working conditions with access to state-of-the-art equipment including OCT, Topographer, Visual Field Analyser, Dry Eye Therapy and Auto-Refractor that will allow you to provide the best care possible to our patient base.

Your new role
As a full-time Optometrist, you will spend most of your day working closely with customers, testing eyes, fitting contact lenses and delivering the standards of service and expertise that sets our business apart. You will also be a key part of the handover to the retail team, making the best recommendations for the customer’s needs whether that be spectacles or contact lenses.
 
The team around you will support you every step of the way and as you are a specialist in your field, they will also look to you for support and advice. You can expect a busy but highly professional culture where everyone is working towards the same goal: providing a truly expert and individual service for every customer, leaving them looking and feeling great.

To Be Successful
The successful applicant will be passionate about optical care, have great people skills and want to run the practice as if it was their own. You will also demonstrate the following training and experience:

• Bachelor of Optometry
• Unrestricted AHPRA Registration
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience working in a similar role. (New grad will be considered)
• Genuine love for Optometry and making people’s lives better!
• Have passion about putting the customer’s eye health first
• Be able to use your optical knowledge and experience to communicate clearly with patients in a bright and friendly manner
• Therapeutic (desirable, not essential)
• Dry Eye Therapy (Blephasteam)
• The latest, state-of-the-art equipment OCT/VFT 
• Optomate software Experience
