An opportunity exists for experienced Allied Health Professionals, to join a new Team, and be at the forefront of leading innovation, best practice and excellence in delivering care. 

Salary:$88,192 to $98,170 pro-rata per annum plus salary packaging.

Please note relocation assistance may be offered to the successful applicant. 

Vacancies: Fixed term, full-time and part-time day work, working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible for 2 ½ years (Multiple Vacancies).

The Role:

The Department of Health, Tasmanian Health Services, seeks to appoint Allied Health Professionals to a new Team delivering a twelve (12) bed Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MHHITH) Service. The Allied Health Professionals will be responsible for the assessment and treatment provided by them, to consumers of service in the delivery of intensive home based care following principles of recovery and trauma informed practice. The new team will include Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Peer Workers and Administrative support.

The team will be a virtual ward of the Royal Hobart Hospital with direct links to the Department of Psychiatry, Emergency Department and Adult Community Mental Health Teams and as such is part of Statewide Mental Health Services – South.
