The Opportunity

Telethon Kids Institute are seeking a highly driven project manager to be an integral part of our leading-edge Cystic Fibrosis research. You will work with a team of experienced and passionate clinicians, researchers, patients and their families across Australia in this first of its kind clinical trial.

You will be part of the Bayesian Evidence-Adaptive Treatment for managing Cystic Fibrosis (BEAT CF) which is a national 5-year multi-centre platform trial to improve the management of children and adults with Cystic Fibrosis.

The Role

As an experienced Project Manager of clinical trials, you will take the lead on this ground-breaking innovative approach. You will deliver high-level and professional research services and ensure the project's priorities are met by providing expert advice at both a strategic and operational level.

This role will have a strong focus on developing, pursuing and maintaining strong partnerships with all key stakeholders, including collaborators, consumers, relevant research bodies, academic staff and service providers. To be successful you will have demonstrated ability to build strong relations and possess a high level of communication skills.

This is a 12-month full time opportunity which has the ability to be located in the successful candidates desired location within Australia.

The Experience

The successful applicant will have the following skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in biological sciences, allied health, nursing or other relevant discipline OR equivalent work experience
  • Ability to demonstrate high level project management skills
  • Experience in a clinical research environment, preferably across different phases of project development is essential
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, communicate and work within a team
  • Experience working in Investigator initiated clinical trials is highly desirable
