We are looking for a Research Manager who:
will own all aspects of the Sanfilippo Children’ Foundation’s Research Program

is not afraid to take risks and try new things

We are a young not-for-profit, established in late 2013 to fulfil an unmet need funding medical research into the rare genetic condition, Sanfilippo Syndrome.
The purpose of the Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation is to drive research for a world without Sanfilippo Syndrome. Sanfilippo is a serious condition, delivering the most devastating outcome imaginable to patients of the disease and their families. But there is hope. There has been significant clinical progress in recent years and we believe that an effective treatment is within our reach.
The research projects we fund aim to either halt the progression of Sanfilippo; reverse its effects; or improve the quality of life of children who suffer from it.
We have committed AUD $4.7m across 24 projects into research since our inception. We have an esteemed scientific advisory board and strong collaborative working relationships with our sister organisation internationally.
