At VisAbility, we have a long and proud history of providing services for people with disabilities, enabling them to do the things they love and live the life they want. We have two key areas that we specialise in, services for people with no or low vision, and children across the whole broad spectrum of disabilities. Today, we have over 120 staff and over 300 volunteers connecting, inspiring and supporting adults, children and families across Western Australia and Tasmania. Our family of brands encompasses Guide Dogs WA/TAS, Kites Children’s Therapy, Perron Place and our vision only brand VisAbility.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Manager of Therapy Services is responsible for the leadership of our therapy staff and the management and growth of services across two key brands: VisAbility and Kites Children’s Therapy in Western Australia and Tasmania.

Our multi-disciplinary teams consist of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists and Orientation and Mobility practitioners.  This role will also be instrumental in championing our Dog Assisted Therapy and Autism Assistance Dog program.  

Your job will be to support and motivate these teams to ensure that we are a leading provider of choice in our specialist areas for the Western Australian and Tasmanian community. You will lead services that are client-centred and values-based as well as identify and execute business development opportunities to financially support the organisations’ strategic objective.
