Remuneration: $122,850 per annum - $139,559 per annum + super and annual leave loading

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager Clinical Safety and Quality, as part of the Clinical Governance team works with other Clinical Capability, Safety & Quality teams, Clinical Operations and other directorates to facilitate the development and implementation of safety and quality activities in line with Clinical Capability, Safety & Quality key priorities, programs and initiatives to maintain effective patient safety and clinical quality within NSW Ambulance. The Manager Clinical Safety and Quality is responsible for monitoring Clinical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as well as other performance targets and is a key driver for the promotion of a safety culture with a focus on continuous improvement and quality across the organisation.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will require the following experience and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent and extensive experience with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in tasks of a clinical nature.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating change, analysing problems, developing effective solutions, and resolving conflicting priorities in a Clinical Governance Unit or health care setting.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision making, leadership and influencing skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, through all organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and lead change in a complex organisation.
