About the roles:
The Senior Epidemiologist provides expert epidemiological and statistical advice, analysis and support to a coordinated and collaborative approach to the analysis of statewide data.
The roles will:
- undertake epidemiological and statistical analyses to support priority projects
- provide high-level technical advice on analyses to support NSW Health system priorities
- provide expert and specialist advice in response to data, analysis and information requests from a range of stakeholders including the Executive
- prepare reports, scientific papers, presentations and other correspondence (including ministerial briefs) to disseminate insights gained from data analysis and inform decision making
- lead or contribute to the development of a range of data and analysis capability building activities for NSW Health staff
Both roles are within the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit within the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence.
