About the role

cohealth is looking for an engaging and organised individual to manage our site at Merri Bek City Council's Glenroy Community Hub. The Glenroy Community Hub is an integrated health and lifelong learning centre designed to support, educate, and inspire locals at all stages of their life. The Glenroy Site Manager supports cohealth to oversee the operations within the community health wing of the hub which includes a range of clinical and allied health services for vulnerable Victorian's.

Your duties include:

  • Actively engage new partnership opportunities to expand service delivery
  • Manage sub-licence and internal partnerships with cohealth medical and allied health services
  • Act as the key contact for maintaining our strong working relationship with our key stakeholder and landlord - Merri-bek City Council and sub-licence partners

Our ideal candidate:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or other appropriate qualification
  • Proof of qualification to be sighted
  • Language skills in any of the following: Arabic, Nepali, Turkish, Italian, Urdu (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders from a range of disciplines in community and healthcare sector
  • Demonstrated understanding of a community development approach in healthcare setting

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Statutory Declaration, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
