The Western Australian Government has announced it has reached an agreement with the Federal Government on the construction of the new $9.5 million Wiluna Health Clinic.

State Health Minister Kim Hames said the work would start soon and, when completed, the Ngangganawili Aboriginal Medical Service would be able to seek licensing approval to occupy the new building.

“The recent licensing inspection also identified that the builder needed to rectify 43 defects and these works will start this week,” he said.

“The decision by the State and Federal governments means the new facility can be licensed and open in the New Year.”
