With over 25 centres nationally, we have supported thousands of children and their families for more than 30 years. In 2021 - 2022 we provided services to 39,002 people, including over 23,000 children.

About the job...

We are seeking a part time (0.8FTE) Research and Grants Coordinator to join our friendly and collaborative team. Our work environment sets us apart, we are flexible and supportive. You can mix working from home and at the Milton office, you decide what combination works best for you!

This role will lead and coordinate research and grants within the Service Strategy and Growth team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead quantitative and qualitative social impact research and evaluation on Act for Kids initiatives.
  • Undertake sound analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to make informed judgements.
  • Write impact and research reports and presentations based on findings.
  • Coordinate the identification, information gathering and writing of grants to help fund national service delivery and capacity building projects
  • Ensure processes, methodology and communications are culturally appropriate and inclusive.

About you...

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., psychology) and/or equivalent relevant experience and/or:
  • Education/training in research and evaluation design, program logic models, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, report, and grant writing.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with computer-based information management systems, databases, and research tools.
  • An ability to lead stakeholder collaboration processes.
  • Highly developed project management skills.
  • Well-developed communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Other Requirements….

  • Eligibility for a positive Working with Children Check in the applicable state of employment in Australia or exemption based on professional qualifications and registration.
  • Current driver’s licence.
